BSPA

Spa Design

Our spa design service delves into the ‘psychology of wellness’, recognising that spaces hold the power to influence emotions and mental states. The journey initiates with the layout, guiding guests through a sequence of experiences where each area is meticulously curated to evoke a perception of calm and comfort within the project’s unique characteristics. To convey exclusivity and quality, all elements are selected for their aesthetics and tactile specifications that engage the senses and inspire repeat visits.

Our tailored approach sets the tone, influences the mood, and enhances the visual appeal, hence optimising the brand’s performance towards fulfilling the requirements and expectations of its guests.

The Concept

The initial spark of inspiration takes shape in the conceptual phase, where our designers collaborate closely with the client to explore possibilities, refine ideas, and introduce deliverable and unique wellness solutions. BSPA will set the projects’ tone, style, and direction, ensuring the final result aligns with the client's vision and objectives.

The Zoning

Crafting a functional space requires an approach grounded in expertise – the scientific method of spa creation. Developing a spa zoning plan is our proficiency – a phase in which the areas are divided according to their distinct characteristics, purpose, and usage.

The Flow

The spa flow is about establishing a logical sequence that connects the dots, where each facility, zone or treatment complements the next - the knowledge of creating experiences through the entire wellness centre. We emphasise on developing customer movement charts within each zone and, as a whole, to determine the most suitable combination of facilities and their correct placement.

'Designing Exclusivity'
'The Heart of the Spa'

Every premier spa destination demands a unique centerpiece that elevates its allure and distinguishes it from the standard.

Merging the psychology of impressions with the project objectives, our team will create a captivating feature—be it visual, sensual, or a harmonious blend of both to set your business apart and serve as a beacon of recognition.

'The First Impression'
Reception Area

The reception area is the threshold where first impressions are forged. It is the canvas upon which a visitor's initial encounter with the business is painted.

Within its design, we strive to set the tone for the entire guests' experience, reveal the essence of the brand, its values, and its commitment to excellence.

From the choice of furnishings to the warmth and efficiency of the reception staff, we pay attention to every detail to guarantee our clients deliver a lasting and positive first impression.

'The ladies' choice'
Changing Rooms

Designing a changing room is the ability to combine functionality, aesthetics, and a deep understanding of the user's experience.

We take pride in our research team, constantly looking for innovations and improvements to deliver an environment that seamlessly balances privacy, comfort, and style.

All attributes of the space are taken into consideration - from the necessary amenities and choice of features to the complimentary cosmetics.

'Inhale Serenity, Exhale Stress'
Treatment Rooms

Carefully crafted to be more than just rooms, we design spaces that trigger the senses and enhance the overall experience.

When setting up the layout, we rely on efficient spatial planning to facilitate easy movement for therapists and determine the appropriate placement of the massage table, equipment, and all additional furnishings.

Then comes the blend of colours, shapes and materials that converge together to create an atmosphere of tranquillity and healing - a complete wellness path that can stand on its own or as an addition to the rest of the spa.

'The First Impression'
Relax Area

A space that boosts the ‘feel good factor’ seamlessly merges functional expertise with an ambience that elicits the correct emotion. Incorporating this exciting resonance into the Relax Room Plans requires a skill beyond merely arranging rooms by sequence, order, or adjacency.

We emphasise on developing precise customer paths to dictate the layout, the wellness equipment, the interior features, and the entire room configuration.

Moving forward to materials, shapes, and colour palettes that align with the broader design  - a cohesive integration within the customer's wellness journey in the relaxation room.

‘It's the mind that requires persuasion’
The Gym

Our methodology design is focused on dividing the space into purposeful zones while incorporating a diverse range of equipment to cater to different fitness preferences.

We work toward establishing optimal equipment position and adequate spacing between each facility to prevent congestion and help users navigate the space efficiently.

Once the initial layout is developed, the focus is shifted on bringing expression within the interior design – boosting visual appeals that promote motivation and transform thoughts into action.

'Refresh, Detox, Energise'
The Snack Area

BSPA possesses a profound comprehension of the impact each cabin or treatment has on the human body and mind, along with the essentials required to create a wholesome spa experience.

Collaborating with our dietary coach, we assess the types of foods and beverages necessary to restore or positively enhance the chemical balance of the body and allocate a selective nutritional corner to complement refreshment and hydration.

'Offering Quality'
Equipment

The quality of a spa is ever as good as the quality of the installed equipment and service provided – two correlating dependencies that influence visits and profitability.

Selecting the correct equipment is a fundamental step to building a successful wellness centre – from the choice of materials and the products’ functionality to the manufacturing technology and installation.

'Behind the Scenes'
The Service Area

Frequently overlooked, the service or stock areas hold significant value in the functionality of any spa and wellness centre, serving as the linchpin for easy and stress-free management.

Although the interior design may not feature prominent focal points, the strategic planning of storage units and their proper placement is essential to ensure efficiency in the day-to-day operations.
